Transport

Students may travel to school by car, bicycle, or bus. Two carparks are available for families, with a 5 km/h speed limit for safety. The Archer Street Carpark includes a “STOP, DROP and GO” zone, parent parking, and shaded staff parking. Another drive-through “STOP, DROP and GO” area is located beside the Secondary Campus and accessed from Collard Street.

Bicycle racks are available at both Primary and Secondary Schools and must be used to secure bikes. These areas are out of bounds during lunch breaks.

The College operates a “Courtesy” bus to transport students to and from the State School on Gladstone Road, where connecting buses service surrounding areas. A bus also runs between Redeemer and Moura. Rolls are marked daily, and students meet in the Chapel Courtyard each afternoon for supervision before boarding. All bus travel is conducted in accordance with the Queensland Transport Bus Travel Code of Conduct.

Student drivers must apply for a Redeemer Driver’s Permit from the Principal or Head of Operations before driving to the College. Vehicles are to be parked on Bell Street, and students may only travel in another student’s car with express parental permission.
