This position has become available following the promotion of our current leader into a broader leadership role within Lutheran Education Queensland, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or emerging leader to step into a significant leadership role within our growing College.

Redeemer Lutheran College is a Prep–Year 12 Christian school located in the welcoming regional community of Biloela, approximately one hour from the Capricorn Coast. With strong enrolment growth and a clear strategic vision, the College is committed to excellence in teaching and learning, strong relationships, and a vibrant Christian culture. 

This role contributes to the strategic leadership of the College, working closely with the Principal and leadership team to support high-quality teaching and learning in the primary school. The position includes leadership responsibilities alongside a teaching component.

Importantly, the College is open to shaping the role depending on the experience and strengths of the successful applicant. Applicants with strong curriculum leadership experience or particular strengths in Christian Studies and worship leadership are encouraged to apply, as elements of the role may be adjusted or shared.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Lutheran Education Queensland Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and include a Position of Added Responsibility (PAR) curriculum leadership allowance commensurate with experience. Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant. Primary Teacher 

Contract Type: Contract Position Part Time (0.40 FTE)

Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher to join their collaborative team to share a part time classroom teaching role from the beginning of Term Two, 2026. Early years qualifications and/or experience is highly desired.

We invite applicants who have Primary Education / Early Childhood qualifications to apply. All levels of experience will be considered; graduate and permission to teach applications are welcome. This part-time role officially begins on Monday 20 April, 2026 and continues through until the end of the 2026 school year.
