College Council

It has been a great privilege to again be chairman of the Redeemer College Council for 2024. No two college years are ever the same and as we continue to grow, I, along with the rest of College Council members are proud of what we are becoming. I am always in awe of what the people within our college community can accomplish.
As always, I am truly thankful for the support, effort and input of all the College Council members and with God’s guidance we have reached the end of another year. Throughout this year as we have continued to face numerous challenges, however I am comforted by the words of Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
I, on behalf of the College Council, I would like to extend a special thank you to our leadership team for their dedication to the staff and students, and their desire to provide a Lutheran Educational facility where every students’ academic, social and emotional needs are catered for. I have every confidence that the children of our college will receive a quality education centred around the Love and Grace of our Lord and Saviour.
The College Council was delighted to appoint Mrs Megan Worthington to the role of Principal of our College. Megan brings a boundless enthusiasm and genuine concern for every member of our college. She constantly reflects the aspirations of REACH and encourages these values in our students and staff. On behalf of the College Council, I would like to wish her all the best in her new role and we look forward to a long and fruitful association with her.
Once again, the members of the Parents and Friends Committee have proven to be an asset to the College. I would like to congratulate you on another great year. Through your support and fund-raising activities, you not only bring our College community together, but promote the College to our wider community and raise valuable funds to improve the facilities at the school.
To the teachers, I again thank you for your dedication to your roles and to the students. To the administration and support staff, thank you for keeping our school running so smoothly. These people are truly dedicated to their roles and our school is blessed to have all these wonderful people in our midst. To the teaching and support staff who this year have chosen to move on, we wish you the very best in your future endeavours.
God has truly blessed our College throughout 2024 and we look forward to another rewarding year in 2025.
Yours in Christ,
Gavin Lotz
